My surgeon told me that he was going to war with the tumor once he opened me up. \u00a0Now, my body will be going to war against the cancer. \u00a0On March 16th, I will be starting my radiation and chemotherapy. \u00a0Up to this point, I have been eating healthier and taking vitamins. \u00a0I was also trying to \u201cget fat\u201d for my treatment process. \u00a0I was trying to get fat while not eating sugar because cancer likes sugar. \u00a0I was taking all the necessary precautions to prepare myself for my upcoming battle. \u00a0I am actually really excited to start my treatment. \u00a0All this waiting has been killing me and making me nervous. \u00a0I have no idea what is going on in my body. \u00a0It is tough just sitting around waiting. \u00a0I wish I could be out doing something like teaching. \u00a0One of the good things about teaching is that no matter what is going on in your personal life, once you get in the classroom everything is forgotten. \u00a0Sometimes that is a good thing. \u00a0I love teaching and love being there for my students. \u00a0I will remember my first year of teaching for the rest of my life and all the students I had during the year. \u00a0I am also nervous about this process because of what these drugs do to you. \u00a0Nervous about what will happen.<\/p>\n
