Railroad Earth is deeply saddened by the passing of our friend Matt Sayles. He was a fan of all good music and a shining light to all his friends. May his light continue to shine in all our hearts. Rest in peace and gentle travels friend.

RRE was awesome this past weekend bro. they played the wheel, followed by hard livin to close the second set, it was awesome. i thought of you the whole time. mom, dad, chris, patti, dave and cat were all there. we all felt you with us through the music.
i got a poster, and the whole band autographed it. im gonna put it in a frame along with the ticket stubs and set lists, just like you did.
miss you and love you every day,

You remember that festival i told you i went to one day of last may, the mighty high mountain festival? i remember you said it was not a good festival. i guess you wanted to make it better because this may its 3 nights of DSO and 2 nights of RRE. i cant think of anyone who could have made that happen besides you bro, thanks. i think we are going to try to go to the 2 nights RRE play, it should be a great time.

    love you

i went to a tea leaf green concert last night. they were very very good, but i like RRE live better. TLG is more contemporary. where RRE goes folk and bluegrass, TLG will go jazz and funk. they were still really good.
you would approve of my concerts this spring, im going to 5 RRE shows 🙂 ill let you know how they are
    love you
